General Rules
1. The Golden Rule.
Respect your fellow members and staff. You have no right to be mean to another member. If you have a problem with someone, PM the admin and try to work it out. If somebody likes or dislikes something that you feel the opposite about, don't bash them about it. People like what they like. There shall be no porn, spam, threats, politics, or racist/sexist remarks.
2. Staff.
What ever the staff say goes. If you go against any member of the staff, you will have a talking to by the head admin. If you continue to disrespect the staff, you will be warned. If it continues, you will be banned from the site.
3. Your Username.
Please don't make insane usernames. A username like Pink Kitty55783 is not allowed, however you may use Pink Kitty. Please, no more then two words in your name, and no numbers
4. Stock.
Please, please, please don't post copyrighted images on the site. The last thing i want is to have the site shut down because the owner of the image found out you were using it and contacted the man. Also, we really don't need a lawsuit slap on us because of misuse of images either.
6. Signatures.
Your signature must not stretch the boards. The allowed dimensions are 550x300 at the most. If you go over that, the image will be removed and converted into a link. If your image is bigger then that, use a clickable
5. Swearing.
We will allow swearing, only if every other word is not a curse word. That means only use 3-4 curse word in a post. If you can not follow this rule, then we will allow no swearing at all.
6. Absent?
If you are leaving or quitting the site, gawd forbid!, then please post in the appropriate board.
7. Other
Please make an account if you wish to roleplay on the site. Please keep OOC posts to at least a sentence unless it is a game. If you want, you may create a separate account for each character, but you must keep them all active. One account is much more appreciated though.

Character Rules
1. References.
If you wish, you may use a reference when posting a character. Please don't copy another person's character though, be they from this site or another one. Anyone found stealing characters will be banned from the site.
2. Characters.
You may have as many characters as you wish. Just keep them all active or one of the staff might post them up for adoption. That means posting with them at least once a week.
3. Stick to the Bio.
Say you have a character that hates puppies. When you are role-playing with that character and a puppy comes along, then your character must act cold to the puppy, and not all love dubby.
4. Colors.
When creating a character, there will be no unusual colors. That means no purple dogs with yellow markings. The only thing that will ever be allowed is unusual eyes. The only way you can have unusual eye colors is if you buy them in the store or win them in site contests. Rules for unusual eyes can be found in the store.
5. Magical Powers.
There is no, I repeat, NO magic allowed on the site. This is a realistic canine roleplay. There are no natural born dogs that can read minds or levitate off the ground.
6. Dogs.
There are two 'types' of dogs on this site. Feral, or pack dogs, and domesticated dogs. Each group has a few rules of their own.
[/b] Feral dogs can not be purebred. The possibility of finding a purebred dog in a group that has been living on the same island for seventy five years is slim to none. Each feral dog must have at least two breeds. You can have unlimited amounts of breeds in your dog. If we have to many dogs with only two breeds, the number will be raised. The more breeds, the merrier! If you really want a purebred feral dog, they will be sometimes available in the store or as a prize in a contest. They live in one of four packs or as loners. If they are a loner, they need to be careful as to wear they roam. Many of the pack dogs don't take to kindly to loners. Loners may travel in groups no larger then three unless it is a mated pair, another dog, and their pups. The pups may only stay with their parents as loners until they are two. Once two, they must join a pack, another loner, or be on their own. Feral dogs, be they pack or loner, hate the dogs that live as pets. They tolerate the stray a bit more, but very rarely will you see a feral dog associate with a domestic. Domesticated Dogs: Domesticated dogs can either be mutts or they can be purebred. The majority of them are purebred. Most of them haven't been able to produce multiple breed puppies as they have been on the island for no more then five years. So far, the domesticated dogs only have three generations on the island. The starter dogs, their puppies, and their puppies' puppies. Because of this, domesticated dogs may only have up to three breeds. If you wish to have more, PM the admin and talk it over. The domesticated dogs are part of two groups. Either owned or stay. The owned dogs live the posh lifestyle. Every one of them wears a collar. Once owned, always owned, or so it is said. There has been a total of five owned dogs that have joined with the packs. A few more then that have become strays. The majority, almost 99%, of them are purebred. The strays, on the other hand, are about fifty-fifty when it comes to purebred and mutt. They were either had an owner earlier in life or are a second generation stray. Some of them wear collars and if they do, the collar is dirty and impossible to read. They don't get along with either the owned or the feral dogs. Some of them are able to join up with packs at the lowest spot, roam the island as a loner, or roam around the town. [/ul][/blockquote] 7. Markings.Feral dogs may have slightly strange markings. Nothing to extreme though. Zebra stripes covering the whole body is to extreme but zebra stripes on just the legs or a couple on the back is allowed. If you are unsure, PM a staff member or put it in your bio. If it is to extreme, a staff member will let you know and you will have to edit it. 8. Bans.If there is a ban on a certain breed, gender, type, or anything else, then please don't make that. We need about an even amount of everything. [/size][/blockquote]

Role-playing Rules
1. Post Length.
Okay I know that sites with no post length are nice, but i'm going to put one here. Please try and post at least 100 words. If I see that people aren't posting that much more then once, then I will place a code that won't let you post unless you have 100 words or more. It's really not that hard. Describe your surroundings or what your character is doing in detail if you are having trouble coming up with enough words.
2. Power playing and God moding.
Power playing is when you control another character God moding is an invincible character. Now what you know what they are, don't use either of them, ever.
3. Liquid Time.
Liquid time is when you have a character in more than once place at a time. I will allow this, but please don't have your character in more then two posts at one time. Thank you. .
4. Graphic Posts.
The only type of graphic posts I will allow, are battle posts. If you go over the top with the blood and gore, you will be warned. If it is not edited or you continue to post like that, the staff will lock the post and move it to the archives. Also NO GRAPHIC MATING SCENES WHAT SO EVER. If you are mating, do a fade out and then in sort of thing. If role-playing it out floats your boat, take it to the PMs or somewhere else.
6. Post Type.
Please only post in third person. When you post in first or second, it gets kind of confusing for the person that you are role-playing with.
For being such a good member, here's the password to the Character Creation board: island
